Grounding in Your Mission

You need to go back to yours.

Not sometimes. Every time.

A couple of months ago, I was reimagining the She Enlightened website, adding photos, credentials, etc., when I clicked on the Mission & Model About page, and it smacked me in the face.

I haven't visited the Mission & Model About page in a year. I wrote it at the tail-end of 2014. I didn't think to look back.

I let myself move on to graphics, Femantras, blog posts, social media, tongue-between-teeth focused on shedding a lighted message. Too focused to check, even once, that my mission was still hoisting up my message.

After blogging for a year, I am reviewing and remembering who I am speaking to.

Those who want to feel empowered.

Those who want to become their best self to generate change.

Those who want to break down stereotypes, guilt, shame, and discrimination through meditation.

Because of you, I'm here for the ride.

And I want to hear from you. What do you want to discuss in 2016? What empowering meditations are you looking for? How can I be a feminist resource for you?

After all - isn't grounding in your advocacy message the most a meditating feminist can do?
